Calcium and magnesium are the two elements that can change the structure of your soils. If you need to loosen it up, calcium is the solution.
High reactivity
Our product contains 90% calcium carbonate, from which 50% is in the form of quickly reacting calcium oxide (also called quicklime).

CalciGo products add the crucial element to the TerraX technology: calcium. We firmly believe that cover crops, organic matter and calcium make the soil (and so the world) go ’round.
Together with organic matter, calcium creates soil compounds which guarantees the ideal soil structure with pores for air and water. Organic glues like glomalin from mycorrhizal fungi and calcium helps with the soil aggregation.
Calcium is affects soil pH, which is crucial for acidic soils where low pH can limit the availability of other plant nutrients.
Calcium is the trucker of minerals
Calcium is taken up by the plants with water, and it moves from the roots to the shoots, taking other nutrients up as well. Calcium is also an important component of cell walls, and it plays a role in cell division, permeability of membranes and nitrogen utilization.

Quick solubility
Our CalciGo product has high neutralization value and dissolves quickly in the soil. Its 90+ percent CaCO3 content is promptly available to your plants, so you can apply it right before planting.
Please note that this product is a great choice for calcium supply, however, to raise you soil pH, you may need a larger amount of calcium, especially on soils with high cation exchange capacity (CEC), like clay soils or soils with higher organic matter content. Please contact our consultants if you need to elevate soil pH.
